For 16 bucks you get a certified course, t-shirt, prerace water, hot postrace food to include Chik-fil-a biscuits, pizza, subs, chips, and more. The 5k course is nothing too exciting, but it enables spectators to see the runners three times with very little effort. The roads are closed to traffic too which is nice.
There are two races for the kids, a one mile fun run, and a tot-trot where the kids get to race some mascots. My son loved beating a cow in a race! The real deal of this race is free child care. This made it so the entire family could run.
Hands down, you cannot beat all this race has to offer for only $16. I will be back next year.
